FAQ

How do I add whole items like eggs or bananas to the Recipe Input Tool? And why do I have to?
It’s super easy – simply multiply the weight of one of the individual ingredients by the number of those items the recipe requires where ingredient sizes are universal. For example large eggs that weigh 70g each translates into 280g in total for a recipe that calls for four eggs: 4 x 70g = 280g.

Or you could weigh the total of the ingredients when combining items of varying sizes and weights, for example, bananas.  BakeSw@p has to calculate ingredients this way to cater for the large range of sizes and weights of standard items so the recipes work the way they should and to ensure the nutritional panel calculations are correct.
